Skylight for flat roofs
Glass skylights are used for room lightning, ventialtion and a possible exit to the roof. They conisit of an ALU frame with a broken thermal bridge and a thermal insulation. The system can be opened manually with a threaded spindle or with help of an electric motor. The outer glass in tempered, and the inner glass is safety glued. It is avaiable in several dimensions in two or three-layer thermopane glazing. It is also possible to manufacture rectangular as well as round dimensions up to a diameter of 150 cm. The dimensions and thermal conductivity coeficient are shown in the tables below.
Due to its characteristics and apperance, the window ensures much lower heat losses than the domes thmeselves and gives a feeling of prestige. They are most desirable as skylights above offices, in blocks of flats and in buildings where aesthetics are more important.
Coefficient Ug
The Ug coefficient depends on the number of thermopane layers and the thickness of the individual panes.
